  189. My favourite home cooked meal is a beef casserole. You can go out, leaving it to cook slowly and return to delicious smells and even better flavour as all the vegetables and meat have enhanced one another or you can torture yourself by staying home and savouring it as it cooks. It warms the kitchen and warms the cockles of your heart, too.

  190. I love home-made chicken korma with home-made gluten-free garlic naan bread it is heavenly. It just brings back memories of my travels and also being able to have naan bread on a gluten-free diet is a real blessing to me.

  191. I love a homemade leek soup, because it is so quick and easy to make, and is warming and comforting on these cold winter evenings, with crusty bread and family banter :)

  192. My favourite home cooked meal is roast chicken, not least because it's delicious but it also reminds me of my childhood and there's the added bonus of chicken sandwiches and chicken stew with dumplings later in the week.
